We are seeking a person to fill a combined position of Delivery Driver and Packaging Assistant. This is a full-time position, 30 hours a week, and part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program. This role starts May 24th and runs for 9 weeks, with the option to stay on for the right candidate.

As part of our Brewery Packaging Team you will be responsible for assisting the Head Brewer and Assistant Brewer with packaging, cellaring and cleaning duties. This entry level position is perfect for someone looking to get their start in the craft beverage industry and learn from a small team of industry professionals. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of canning lines and keg washers as well as cleaning, organizing and maintenance of the Brewery and its equipment as well as completing other tasks and duties as necessary.
As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for ensuring accurate order procurement and delivery of online home-delivery and licensee orders a few days a week; ensuring that each order is packed with care, and showing an appreciation of the customer. Licensee/Bar deliveries will require handling 20L (60lbs) and 50L (150lbs) kegs, so an ability to move these packaging types is required; we will provide training for best practices to ensure safe and proper handling of these products. You should feel extremely comfortable driving larger vehicles, as you will be responsible for the safety of yourself and our delivery van in all driveable weather conditions. A clean drivers abstract and class 5 license are required.
