Citrello - Lagered Wild Ale w Grapes and Oranges
A fun, funky little beer!
Brewed in collaboration with Bannerman Brewing out of St John’s, NL.
Fermented in oak foedre with a blend of wild yeast, the beer was conditioned on a significant portion of Kekfrankos grape pomace from Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards as well as fresh oranges. The beer was then naturally carbonated with fresh lager yeast and wort, and allowed to lager for an extended time before packaging.
Funky, dry, zesty, and vinous
